Huawei Wuhan campus is a world-class facility for 8000 scientists thatmeets demanding technical requirements. The design was developed fromthe bottom up, spurred by research into the workday and requirements ofindividual technicians.

A landscape spine links individual research hubs together, seamlessly fulfillingtechnical requirements such as security and servicing, while creating acomfortable human-scale environment. It also serves as a water recycling andnatural filtration system, allowing the reuse of all rainwater and greywater onsite. Passive energy saving techniques take advantage of natural ventilation anddaylight in order to reduce the development’s energy requirement. The project aims to achieve LEED® ND Gold as a minimum through preliminary evaluation.

华为研发园区拥有世界级的科学研究设施，能满足8000个科学家的研究需求。在设计时，我们对技术人员的日常工作和要求进行了深入调查，并采用了自下而上的设计方式。

这一地标性建筑群由多个研究中心串联而成，为技术人员提供舒适的人性化环境，提供配套的安保、维修及能源设施，满足园区严格的技术需求。还配备了一个巨大的水循环系统和自然过滤系统，使园区的雨水和中水得到充分利用。园区取得了良好的被动节能效果，能有效利用自然通风和采光节省园区能耗。该项目旨在达到美国绿色建筑委员会能源与环境设计先锋奖（LEED ND®）绿色社区金奖认证要求。
